“Positive result to end the weekend”

July 14, 2019 – After a day to forget yesterday, Sauber Junior driver and American standout Juan Manuel Correa secured a top ten finish today at Silverstone. After starting P12, Correa advanced forward two positions and though just missed the points, made a positive step in the right direction. With a few weeks off before traveling to the Hungaroring, the Charouz Racing driver will refocus and aim for podium results in Budapest.

“So the second race here in Silverstone we finished with a top ten and on somewhat of a positive note but still no points. Quite disappointed about that but we tried a few things in this race as we did not have much to lose and it seemed to work out,” explained Correa. “There was some interesting results that we need to dive into, look at and hopefully utilize for the coming races. There is no point in getting too frustrated now, we just need to keep pushing, work harder and keep our head up for the next race.”

The next event of the FIA Formula 2 calendar takes place August 2 – 4 at the Hungaroring in Budapest, Hungary. Visit the to follow all the weekends action and stay tuned to the Juan Manuel Correa social media pages for photos, results, news and information.
