P7 for Correa in France and Front Row Starting Position for Tomorrow

FIA Formula 2
2019 Season
Paul Ricard

Starting P12 for round nine of the FIA Formula 2 Championship, Juan Manuel Correa drove a superb event, marching his way into a points scoring position.

Finishing seventh and garnering six points towards the series championship point standings, Correa will start on the outside of the front row Sunday in his Sauber Junior Team by Charouz machine.

“A pretty positive race one at Paul Ricard. Finished P7 and six points in the bag for the overall championship. We did what we wanted to do and we are also starting P2 for tomorrow,” explained Correa.

“The weekend is not over and we need to see what we can do tomorrow. We have pretty good pace in the car and our tire management is also pretty good as well so I am feeling pretty good for tomorrow.”

Race two will get underway at 11:25 (GMT +2) or 5:25am (EDT) in the United States. Visit the www.FIAFormula2.com to follow all the weekends action.
